Be Bowled over by Beautiful Bath

As you approach Bath and see the Abbey nestling in the valley and the town built up on the surrounding hills it is easy to see why Bath is considered a jewel in the crown of the Southwest.  The city was nominated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987, one of the few places to be given this award for the entire city.  This is thanks to the stupendous Roman Baths, the beautiful architecture of the 1700's and the way the city was built into the surrounding country side.

Take a trip round the city where, in the 18th century the fashionable came to take the waters for their ills, gossip, gamble and net a wealthy spouse.  A visit to the Pump Rooms, the Assembly Rooms, Number 1 Royal Crescent, Bath Abbey and Queen Square will give you an insight into the life of leisure in this Georgian city.

Marvel at the Roman Baths built nearly 2000 years ago and why not try the hot mineral waters yourself with a visit to Thermae Bath Spa?
